- Acrobatic Yoga
Unlike traditional yoga that is practiced alone, you can be two or more to practice acrobatic yoga (or acroyoga)! The idea is to work together to execute various postures. While the person on the ground (the base) supports the weight of the partner on top, the other executes a pose in the air, trying to stay balanced. Fly like an eagle!

Air fabric is a discipline in which the participant attempts various postures and movements above the ground in a long fabric folded in half and attached to the ceiling. It is a circus technique that allows the execution of movements of strength, flexibility, and choreography. Air Fitness meanwhile, offers the best of yoga, stretching and fitness. It is an anti-gravity workout that helps develop strength, flexibility, stability, balance, coordination, and spinal decompression. The fun part is that this all happens while you’re suspended in a hammock! In addition to these cool ideas, there is also a hoop and trapeze that allows fun and atypical activities.
- Flying Trapeze
The flying trapeze is a fun and playful sport that will appeal to all family members. This activity helps strengthen the abdominal muscles, shoulders, lats and trapezius. - Double Dutch
The jump rope is a fun and effective cardiovascular exercise. To add to the fun, Double Dutch (or double rope) has two “turners” who handle two ropes in which one or two jumpers makes fast movements or acrobatics. Warning, this activity will cause the giggles!
- Kayak
Canoe Kayak is a pleasant leisure or sporting activity involving boats propelled by paddles. It can include canoeing, kayaking or rafting. It’s a nice way to push your limits while contemplating nature.
- The Hula Hoop
More than just a kid’s game, the hula hoop is also a muscular and cardiovascular workout. Slightly larger and heavier than the hoop that we had when we were little, the hula hoop helps you train your legs and core. It just takes a few minutes of this activity to get your heart-rate going!
